Our client (Women’s Sportswear Brand) is looking to hire their next eCommerce and Digital Marketing Manager. This position is tasked with overseeing the strategy, management, and enhancement of the company's e-commerce platform and website while also supporting the operation of their B2B portal. The role focuses on driving growth in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue through innovative digital marketing initiatives and effective site management.
- This is a full-time employee role. Hybrid in office 3 days/week (Meatpacking District)
Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition
- Design and implement data-focused digital marketing plans to enhance website traffic, improve conversion rates, and foster customer loyalty across key channels, such as:
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Paid advertising (Google Ads, social media platforms, programmatic)
- Email and SMS campaigns
- Affiliate partnerships and retargeting efforts
- Social media engagement and loyalty/reward programs
- Utilize customer data and analytics to craft personalized marketing initiatives that boost interaction and increase lifetime value (LTV).
- Monitor, evaluate, and refine campaigns to achieve key performance goals, including CPA, CPC, ROAS, and conversion metrics.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, such as TikTok Ads, AI-powered marketing tools, and programmatic strategies.
- Conduct A/B and multivariate tests to fine-tune creative content, audience targeting, and channel effectiveness.
E-commerce Operations
- Manage daily operations and enhancements for the e-commerce platform, including content updates, seasonal refreshes, and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure seamless data synchronization from Netsuite to Shopify and the custom B2B portal, focusing on data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with technical teams (both local and offshore) to implement upgrades, resolve issues, and validate that enhancements meet business needs.
- Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, markdowns, and inventory reserves in alignment with the marketing schedule.
- Regularly assess and improve user experiences across retail and B2B platforms, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business goals.
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain detailed dashboards to track performance metrics across digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
- Analyze campaign and website performance to uncover actionable insights for enhancing customer acquisition, conversion, and overall ROI.
- Facilitate weekly reviews, presenting updates and recommendations to teams and leadership to refine strategies.
- Leverage forecasting and predictive analytics to establish achievable sales and marketing targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or similar fields, ideally managing high-traffic platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent.
- Expertise in e-commerce strategies, digital marketing tactics, and leveraging data to inform decisions.
- Proficient in platforms like Netsuite, Shopify, and Klaviyo, with a demonstrated ability to work alongside technical teams for system updates and enhancements.
- Strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or comparable platforms to generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives in a dynamic setting.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with experience crafting effective marketing content and collaborating across teams.
- Experience with tools such as Basecamp, Jira, and Photoshop is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CMS systems for resolving basic technical issues.
