Why This Role Matters
The Marketing Manager, 20/21 (Americas) role will support the Post-War and Contemporary Art and Impressionist and Modern Art departments at Christie’s. This role is responsible for the development, management and implementation of successful and innovative multi-channel marketing campaigns, while ensuring both departmental and brand objectives and targets are met/exceeded. Highly collaborative, this role partners with the Creative, Content, Press, Digital and Exhibitions teams as well as departments across the business and external agencies.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Accountable for developing and executing an effective marketing strategy to support the 20/21 (Post-War and Contemporary Art and Impressionist and Modern Art) portfolio to deliver against targets and objectives.
- Lead the marketing strategy deck. At the on set of projects, define the pillars, objectives, narratives, creative concepts and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the campaign.
- Manage the marketing briefing process and produce written briefs for all campaigns. Ensure key messages, marketing objectives and targets are delivered via strategic, effective and creative campaigns with best practices by channel.
- Collaborate with Creative/Content Director to generate/apply “big ideas” and incorporate them to the 20/21 marketing and business strategy.
- Track performance metrics to optimize campaign and inform decisions.
- Oversee post-campaign reporting and debriefing process. Create a report for each campaign with benchmarks and analytics. Presenting results to departments and communicating clear learnings and informed strategy.
- Responsible for the 20/21 Marketing Budget and financial processes including raising purchase orders, ensuring marketing activity is within the agreed budget and ensuring supplier invoices are processed as required
- Drive an efficient and coordinated approach for 20/21 marketing initiatives working closely across the business with the Press, Creative, Editorial, Social, Video and Digital teams.
- Collaborate with CRM and Client Insights to track and gather client data to related projects
- Work with the Proposals team and business getters to ensure the marketing strategy in client proposals is structured, targeted, competitive, achievable and increases ROI
- Collaborate with Marketing Director, Business Manager and Finance to review budgets for sales and single owner collections.
- Manage 20/21 Associate Marketing Manager and 20/21 Coordinator. All day-to-day responsibilities, work stream planning and professional development
- Conduct market research and attend informational/education marketing industry events.

Compensation Range
Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00
