Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Assistant to join the Garuda Connect team. In this role, you will support the execution of marketing campaigns, social media management, content creation, and community engagement strategies. You will work closely with the Marketing Lead to help grow the Garuda Connect brand and connect with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
• Assist in managing social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram).
• Create and schedule engaging posts aligned with our content calendar.
• Monitor engagement metrics and interact with followers to build a strong online presence.
2. Content Creation:
• Draft creative and compelling content, including blog posts, email campaigns, and website updates.
• Design graphics and visuals for social media and promotional materials using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Assist with video content creation for TikTok and other platforms.
3. Campaign Support:
• Assist in executing 90-day marketing campaigns and track their performance.
• Research and suggest innovative strategies to increase brand visibility and user engagement.
• Collaborate with the team to develop influencer partnerships and collaborations.
4. Community Building:
• Engage with local businesses, organizations, and users to promote Garuda Connect events and partnerships.
• Respond to community feedback and queries in a professional and timely manner.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including social media engagement, website traffic, and campaign ROI.
• Prepare weekly reports with actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies.
6. Event Promotion:
• Support marketing efforts for Garuda Connect-hosted events, including content creation, promotional strategies, and post-event reporting.
• Develop outreach strategies to drive participation in events.
7. Additional related tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree in these fields).
• Experience:
• 1-2 years of marketing experience (internship experience is acceptable).
• Familiarity with social media platforms, content management tools, and analytics tools.
• Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
• Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing practices.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
