Description American Track is seeking a VP of Marketing to plan and direct all aspects of our marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. This senior-level leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy. The VP of Marketing will be instrumental in guiding the strategic direction of marketing efforts, optimizing campaign performance, and maintaining a strong brand presence. Successful candidates have a proven history of successful marketing campaigns and sales leadership experience. Major Responsibilities Oversees critical marketing functions, including market research, communications, and product planning. Developing and executing strategies to improve brand awareness, align with business objectives, and stand out in a competitive landscape. Analyzing the market for existing products, studying trends, and conducting competitive analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Creates collateral material across the company to build brand identity. Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and events. Monitors and analyzes campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve results. Builds relationships with stakeholders and the media to implement public relations strategies, including community outreach and customer satisfaction programs. Leads, mentors, and manages the marketing team, to include fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversees hiring, training, and professional development of marketing staff and serves as a consultant interview of other sales team members. Works closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business goals. Manages the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracks expenditures and ROI to ensure financial efficiency. Monitors and analyzes marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Prepares and presents regular reports on marketing performance to senior management and stakeholders. Remains updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to be an innovative leader of marketing techniques to maintain a competitive edge. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, required. MBA or advanced degree, preferred. Work Experience: 10 years experience in sales & marketing roles. 5 years in a senior marketing leadership position. Previous construction or railroad experience, a plus. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies. Skills & Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
