POSITION TITLE: Director of Social Media & Digital Marketing/GUESS Jeans
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Director of Social Media & Digital Marketing/GUESS Jeans is responsible for leading and executing the company's digital marketing strategy for GUESS Jeans across all social media channels. This role combines creativity, data-driven insights, and strategic leadership to drive engagement, enhance the brand's online presence, and generate measurable results. The Director will oversee social media campaigns, digital advertising efforts, content creation, SEO/SEM strategies, and data analytics for GUESS Jeans to ensure all digital marketing initiatives align with the company's goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube). Define social media goals, KPIs, and performance metrics. Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and optimal engagement. Monitor and manage daily social media activities, ensuring timely responses and community management.
Digital Marketing Leadership: Lead the overall digital marketing strategy, incorporating email marketing, SEO/SEM, display advertising, and influencer marketing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and product, to develop digital marketing initiatives. Oversee the execution of digital ad campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms.
Content Creation & Management: Supervise the creation of engaging content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and promotional material. Ensure that all content aligns with brand voice and values. Coordinate with creative teams to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and written content.
Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, and marketing platforms) to track and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns. Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and insights. Provide monthly reports on digital marketing activities, trends, and KPIs to senior leadership.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of social media managers, digital marketers, content creators, and analysts. Ensure the team is aligned with the company's goals and that projects are completed on time and within budget. Foster a collaborative, creative, and performance-driven culture within the digital marketing team.
Budget Management: Manage the digital marketing budget effectively to ensure all activities are cost-efficient and aligned with the company's financial goals. Allocate resources for paid advertising, content creation, and other digital initiatives.
Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay current with digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to incorporate new tools, platforms, and strategies into campaigns to enhance engagement and reach.
