The Regional Marketing Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for Polestar’s Space partners. They will support marketing efforts across media, creative, events, and CRM to help increase local share of voice. They will support in driving traffic and qualified leads resulting in increased sales opportunities and improved market share. They will ensure objectives are attained, gaps are identified and further opportunities to drive traffic and increase sales are explored. They will collaborate with national marketing teams on regional creative direction and regional marketing strategies.
This position requires frequent overnight travel throughout the Western Region of the U.S.
What You’ll Do
- Manage marketing efforts on a region-wide basis in collaboration with National marketing teams and individual retail partners.
- Oversee all facets of regional marketing, including budget management, communication with retailers, coordination with media vendor partners and collaboration with internal cross functional teams.
- Partner with internal regional operations to address market needs and develop strategic marketing initiatives that align with business targets and objectives by region.
- Assess retailer marketing needs to identify opportunities to effectively utilize available marketing funds.
- Manage agency relationships including the creative process, turnaround times, requests and ensuring deliverables meet brand standards.
- Host monthly or quarterly marketing meetings with Space partners providing updates and insights on national marketing initiatives and activations.
- Drive the regional execution of national marketing initiatives, including overseeing new car launches at a regional and local level.
- Foster strong working partnerships with our retailer partners to assist in marketing recommendations as needed.
- Understand the Polestar customer journey and experience to identify opportunities to drive the regional business forward.
Who You Are
- 5 -7 years’ experience in an automotive media, digital sales and/or marketing role.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
- Previous experience working with Tier 3 automotive marketing highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of marketing policies, customer service practices, and sales management.
- Demonstrated experience managing marketing initiatives, KPI’s and budgets in a retail environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks.
- You thrive in a fast-paced work environment, are energized working both independently and collaboratively and can apply critical thinking to create solutions.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and office suite
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to present in front of large audiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization, up to C-Level.
