JOB SUMMARY:
Under the oversight of the Senior Manager, Experience Strategy and Development; assists in the development of assigned destination experiences (ie attractions, events, add-ons) with marketing input that supports the broader short and long-term marketing strategy for Universal Destinations & Experiences. The Representative will collaboratively partner in the development of marketing plans and/or products designed to appeal to targeted audiences, engage those audiences, induce trial by those audiences and compel repeat visitation from those audiences as loyal guests.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Audience Strategy, Audience Planning, Consumer Insights, Entertainment and Revenue Operation teams to develop experiences and programs that increase visitation of key audiences that deliver against business objectives.
- Partner with Communication Planning in the development and implementation of tactical plans to support commerce initiatives, including fact sheet developments, approvals and distribution.
- Support Manager in the development of concise marketing plans to inform cross channel teams and Sr Leadership.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of marketing or advertising experience preferably in the travel, entertainment, or tourism industry
- ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
