Are you passionate about open source, cloud-native technologies, and the testing ecosystem? Do you thrive in the dynamic world of SaaS and product marketing? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Our client is an Open Source Accelerator at the forefront of innovation in the cloud-native and testing ecosystem. We are looking for an experienced VP of Marketing to join their team and help them shape the future of their products.
This is a fully remote position, however we need this person based in Boston.
The Role:
As the VP of Marketing, you’ll be instrumental in driving demand generation, corporate marketing, and product marketing strategies. Working closely with the founders, product team, and an expanding sales team, you’ll lead the charge in defining their brand’s narrative, optimizing the sales motion, and accelerating their path to a successful Series A and beyond.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic marketing leader who’s excited to build, grow, and scale a team over the next 1-3 years. If you’re ready to lead marketing efforts at a high-growth company with technical, developer-focused products, this is your chance to make a significant impact.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in Demand Generation and Corporate Marketing (Product Marketing is a plus) OR Demand Generation and Product Marketing (Corporate Marketing is a plus).
- Currently a Director of Marketing (or similar) with 3+ years in a Software B2B company with a high-velocity, inside and enterprise sales motion.
- Proven ability to grow and scale complex products targeted at technical audiences (Senior Software Engineers, DevOps, Architects, and Engineering Managers).
- Start-up experience is a must; you’re comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Passion for working with open-source technologies and a deep appreciation for developer communities.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling a marketing function from the ground up.
If you're ready to help drive innovation in the cloud-native and open-source testing space, we want to hear from you!
