As an SEO Specialist, you will make an impact by partnering with inclusive teams to enhance search engine efficiency, with a focus on local search (Google My Business) to build measurable results. You will be a valued member of our Digital Experience Marketing and Content team and work collaboratively with our Competency Lead.
In this role, you will
- Design strategic SEO content and optimize metadata, tags, and page structure to efficiently improve search visibility and accessibility.
- Handle technical SEO tasks, including growing page speed, fixing broken links, and ensuring mobile responsiveness.
- Audit backlinks to maintain high-quality connections and disavow low-value links (management of 800K+ backlinks).
- Perform keyword research to find opportunities based on guest search behaviour and recommend on-page optimizations to boost engagement.
- Perform analysis on SEO using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and BI platforms.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports to communicate actionable insights to delivery partners.
- Contribute collaboratively with technology teams to leverage tools, including generative AI for content creation, keyword research, and process automation.
- Uncover new opportunities for SEO improvements through competitive analysis and market research.
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously adapting to emerging SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates to increase ongoing growth and innovation.
- Coordinate with diverse teams, including business, technology, and design, to align SEO efforts with business goals.
What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven SEO, digital marketing, or web design experience.
- Proficiency with enterprise analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and web technologies such as HTML and site architecture frameworks.
- Outstanding skills in technical SEO, including page speed optimization, broken link resolution, and mobile responsiveness.
- Distinguished ability to manage backlink strategies, audits, and quality control.
- Superb communication skills, with good attention to detail and strong capability to coordinate multiple tasks.
- The capability to work in time zones with at least a 6-hour overlap with Pacific Time (North or South America).
