Summary
Commercial Marketing is responsible for driving and executing the marketing strategy for the Direct Store Delivery segment of the business. In this role, the Assistant Manager of Commercial Marketing will ensure excellence in marketing execution of this vertical.
The Assistant Manager of Commercial Marketing will have a pivotal role in engaging with internal and external stakeholders and functional teams to execute the go-to-market strategy and marketing mix. This role will work closely with our internal cross-functional teams and distribution partners to develop and execute omnichannel plans and marketing toolkits that drive growth and market share. This role will help measure, share and improve internal and external processes for omnichannel execution, and ensure delivery of cohesive trimester plans. Additionally, they will support the sales and execution organizations of the business with necessary information, tools and training to effectively sell and drive growth of our ready-to-drink portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Work with Director to develop and execute best-in-class marketing programming to support DSD route-to-market
- Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure strong execution against omnichannel programming that is rooted in insights and addresses retailer & shopper needs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Creative, Sales, Execution, External) to develop and execute marketing toolkits and programming that drive effective off-shelf display
- Own the digital shelf for retail product pages inclusive of standard product descriptions and enhanced content.
- Collaborate with Creative on marketing materials, including point-of-sale, retailer media assets, selling materials, marketing programming
- Work with Director on creative development from start to finish with cross-functional collaboration.
- Coordinates Sales, Execution, Category Management, Commercial, Insights and External Partners to ensure strategic linkage across initiatives and find potential commonalities.
- Partner with cross functional teams to continue to improve processes, linkage and communication to drive business forward.
- Report on effectiveness and performance of activity on ongoing basis
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field
- 3+ years of CPG customer sales/marketing/agency experience required
- Experience with direct store delivery (DSD) distribution model
- Experience engaging/collaborating directly with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus and drive the business forward
- Experience managing digital shelf
- Fluency in POS and panel data (IRI or Nielsen), Tableau and Microsoft Suite
- Familiarity and experience with food retail and shopper marketing tactics & vendors
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete under tight timelines
- Ability to optimize executional tactics by striking balance between tried & true with emerging, innovative tactics
- Experience in leading creative process and providing feedback to internal and external partners
- Passion for building and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
- Experience linking strategy to implementation
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
- Willingness to travel

Compensation Range: $72,000.00 - $108,000.00, plus bonus.
