Position Overview
The Marketing Director will oversee the company’s entire marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business objectives. This senior leadership role will include developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive marketing campaigns across all channels. You as a Marketing Director will also play a crucial role in supporting the NetSuite implementation process and ensuring marketing functionalities are effectively integrated into the system. Your deep understanding of the construction industry will enable you to develop marketing initiatives that resonate with our core audience.
Responsibilities Of The Marketing Director
- Develop and execute a company-wide marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue growth targets
- Lead the NetSuite implementation process as it pertains to marketing operations, supporting user acceptance testing and facilitating team adoption
- Oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and more
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to ensure a seamless integration of marketing strategies with company goals
- Manage and mentor a marketing team, ensuring effective task delegation, professional growth, and high levels of team engagement
- Develop and implement branding, public relations, and corporate communication strategies to strengthen the company’s position in the market
- Drive lead generation and customer engagement efforts, working closely with sales to optimize conversion rates
- Stay ahead of marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company’s marketing capabilities
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and industry partners
Qualifications For The Marketing Director
- 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Strong expertise in NetSuite implementation and user acceptance within a marketing or operational capacity
- Previous experience in the construction industry or familiarity with industry-specific marketing strategies is highly desirable
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and grow a marketing team
- Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email campaigns, and social media strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration across teams
- Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required
- Master’s degree in Marketing or an MBA is a plus
- Certifications in NetSuite, digital marketing, or other relevant fields are advantageous
