Assistant Marketing Manager, Think
Job Description
Role
The Assistant Brand Manager supports the development, execution, and management of Brand Marketing Strategy for Think. In partnership with the Sr Brand Manager and VP of marketing, this role will be responsible for strategic brand planning and delivering the marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, revenue growth, and sell-through. This role will assist in the formation and execution of launch plans, implementation of strategic marketing & Sales initiatives, and overall product management.

This position reports to the Sr. Brand Manager
Responsibilities
Champion and own the brand to communicate the brand strategy, work cross-functionally to develop plans, communications, and identify innovation opportunities that support overarching brand positioning.
Become sun care category expert and develop & refine brand and product ensuring key messaging is consistent across all customer touchpoints and accomplishes organization goals by taking ownership of new business opportunities and monitor category promotions.
Work closely with Product Development team to develop product messaging & concepts for new product launches and monitor stock and assist with liquidation strategy.
- Create weekly report to ELT during sun season by monitoring, collecting, analyzing sales and summarize return on investment and overall market performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop & drive effective 360 marketing programs for all new product launches and existing core heroes within the product portfolio.
Create a strong alliance with Sales leadership to ensure key account plans are aligned with brand strategies.
Assist retailer’s strategies & presentations and present to retailer partners to obtain their buy-in as needed.
Contribute to content creation process with thoughtful content briefs, clear feedback & strategic direction to create best-in-class assets.
Partner with Digital team on updating content and messaging according to campaign strategy and branding.
Support the media process for the brand. Ensure alignment and influence strategic content direction and recommendations.
Lead the creative briefing process and partner with sales on in-store brand executions.
Serve as the brand’s consumer insights expert, leveraging data analysis and market research to uncover trends in preferences and behavior enabling data driven marketing decisions.
Track budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
In depth knowledge of the social media influencer landscape, gain insight and understanding into influencer partnership deal structures, and learn how to initiate and create effective partnerships and maintain relationships.
Profile:
- Must have a university degree, preferably in Marketing, Management or Communications
- Minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience in marketing or related field
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and assess implications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate confidently yet diplomatically
- Exhibit a keen ability to be proactive as well as handle a multitude of projects at one time.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all departments.
- Self-starter, comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced office environment
- Beauty experience preferred.
