French/West/Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s leading integrated marketing agencies, is seeking an accomplished Vice President to join us in our downtown Raleigh, N.C. headquarters. In this role, you will manage a team and multiple clients within an account group. We’re seeking candidates who can exceptionally service our clients, address issues thoughtfully and effectively, help drive organic growth of existing client work and lead new business opportunities. The right candidate will oversee the project management of agency departments in planning and executing PR and integrated marketing campaigns across social media, influencer marketing, creative design and production, and paid media. Candidates should have 8-10-plus years of PR and account management experience, with preference shown to candidates who have worked in an agency and with prior experience servicing clients in the apparel, travel & tourism, economic development, food & beverage or gaming sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts and ensure team delivers exceptional results and client service daily
Oversee and contribute to the development and execution of strategic PR and integrated marketing plans
Provide strategic counsel to clients; serve as a client voice internally to lead and manage programs and campaigns
Establish programs and strategies to drive practice area revenue growth, while building and maintaining strong client relationships
Deliver award-winning campaign results
Effectively communicate with management and/or accounting to provide accurate revenue forecasts and market intelligence that may impact revenue (+/-)
Manage discovery sessions, prospect qualification and the development of new business proposals and presentations in response to select RFPs
Participate in and contribute to new business activities of the agency
Supervise, counsel and aid in the professional development of team members
Effectively manage client budgets

Specific Requirements:

BA/BS degree in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field
Exceptional writing skills
Minimum 8-10 years of PR experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
Apparel, travel & tourism, economic development, food & beverage or gaming sector experience preferred
Strong track record of building and leading teams
Demonstrated client services/account management experience; ability to manage multiple projects and team members concurrently
Ability to identify and articulate client needs, and build and maintain client relationships
Excellent organization and time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
Working relationships with key media, including reporters, editors and freelance writers
