East Houston Medical Center is seeking a Social Media and Event Marketing Manager to lead strategic digital storytelling, community engagement, and bilingual brand communication across English and Spanish audiences. This position plays a key role in enhancing the hospital’s public presence and strengthening meaningful connections with the communities we serve.

The selected candidate will oversee all aspects of social media management, event marketing, and brand communication initiatives—transforming hospital programs, patient experiences, and community partnerships into cohesive, impactful campaigns that reflect our mission of compassionate care and clinical excellence.

Position Summary

The Social Media and Event Manager will design and execute high-impact digital and event campaigns that inspire, educate, and engage both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences. This role requires a creative storyteller who can capture the heart of patient care, highlight our healthcare professionals, and build trust with the diverse communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute social media strategies across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok X, etc.) in English and Spanish, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
Create engaging multimedia content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software.
Create authentic, story-driven content showcasing our mission, people, and community involvement.
Coordinate and host internal and external hospital events that strengthen community relationships.
Collaborate with Human Resources, Nursing & Clinical Administration, and Leadership teams to create messages aligned with brand identity.
Monitor engagement metrics, trends, and audience feedback to continuously optimize campaigns.
Serve as the on-site liaison for media and community partners at sponsored events.
Implement SEO best practices and conduct keyword research to optimize content visibility and increase organic reach.
Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activities for actionable insights.
Manage social media advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads and other platforms to maximize engagement and conversions.
Coordinate and promote live or virtual events through social media channels, ensuring high attendance and active participation.
Track performance metrics with Google Analytics, web analytics tools, and Buffer or Hootsuite dashboards to refine campaigns continually.
Foster relationships with media outlets, influencers, partners, and community organizations through public relations efforts.
Oversee branding consistency across all digital channels while maintaining a lively voice that energizes our audience.
Engage with followers proactively by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in both English and Spanish to strengthen community ties.

Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or community organizations preferred.
Proficiency with social media analytics, scheduling tools, and event coordination software.
