Social Media + Creative Marketing Manager (Part-Time)
For the storyteller, the trail hiker, the community builder, the curious thinker.
We’re looking for someone who gets it. Someone who’d rather spend a free afternoon exploring a ridge trail than sitting in rush hour… who values creativity and impact more than chasing a corporate ladder… and who’s energized by helping build something real, grounded, and meaningful.
If you love blending digital craft with authentic community vibes, this role might feel like home.
About the Role
You’ll own the social media and digital marketing engine for a collection of innovative ventures — from tech to creative spaces to community experiences. Your work will shape how our story is told, how people discover what we’re building, and how our brand ecosystem evolves.
This isn’t a churn-and-burn marketing gig. It’s a chance to experiment, explore, and help shape an identity that’s intentionally a little mysterious — and deliberately different.
What You’ll Do
- Craft and execute social strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and wherever else our audience lives.
- Create thumb-stopping content — graphics, short videos, reels, stories, micro-blogs, digital campaigns — whatever makes people feel something.
- Use tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing apps to bring ideas to life.
- Keep a careful rhythm of scheduling, posting, and refining content with tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Practice digital “social listening” to understand conversations, trends, culture shifts, and opportunities.
- Apply SEO best practices and lightweight keyword research to boost content discoverability.
- Run targeted paid campaigns (mostly social ads) with an emphasis on storytelling > sales.
- Track what works (and what doesn’t) using analytics tools — and adapt quickly.
- Manage relationships with local creators, influencers, community partners, and media folks.
- Maintain clean, consistent brand vibes across everything we put into the world.
- Support e-commerce and digital experiences when needed, helping align content with what people actually want.
- Proofread and refine copy so that everything we publish feels intentional and polished.
What You Bring
- Experience running social accounts with personality, coherence, and purpose
- Strong visual instincts — graphic design skills (Adobe Suite, Canva)
- Video editing experience (short-form content especially)
- Understanding of SEO, social analytics, web analytics, and digital strategy
- Ability to plan and execute paid social campaigns
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Comfort managing community partnerships and influencer relationships
- A curiosity for how digital storytelling intersects with real-world communities
- Familiarity with e-commerce is a plus
- BONUS: You live an active lifestyle, love the outdoors, appreciate progressive ideas, and value work/life balance — you want to help build something meaningful without sacrificing your time, creativity, or sanity.
Why This Role Is Different
- Flexible, part-time, autonomy-friendly
- Outdoorsy, open-minded culture
- Freedom to experiment and build
- You’ll support multiple ventures — from tech to creative studios to community spaces
- Your ideas won’t get buried under layers of corporate approvals
- You’ll have room to define your creative style and voice
- The work has real-world community impact
This is a chance to grow with something that’s growing — and leave your fingerprint on brands that are just beginning to take shape.
