About the Role
We're seeking an ambitious, and creative individual to join our founding team as a Social Media Marketing Intern. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with our co-founders and gain hands-on experience in every aspect of running a social media agency—from content shoots to client relationships to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Creative Support
- Assist on-location at client content shoots and productions
- Support content creation process from concept to final delivery
- Help brainstorm creative ideas for social media campaigns
- Assist with photo/video editing and content preparation
Client Relations & Account Management
- Participate in client meetings and communications
- Help maintain positive client relationships and respond to inquiries
- Support account management tasks and project coordination
- Learn the ins and outs of client service in a creative agency environment
Operations & Organization
- Manage and maintain team calendar and scheduling
- Keep projects organized using our project management systems
- Help improve internal processes and workflows
- Coordinate logistics for shoots, meetings, and deliverables
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries and files
Learning & Growth
- Shadow co-founders in strategic decision-making
- Gain exposure to social media strategy, content marketing, and business operations
- Contribute ideas for improving our systems and client offerings
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Experience managing or supporting social media accounts
- Strong eye for detail and quality control
- Basic familiarity with CapCut or similar video editing tools (for light edits only)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong written communication skills (you'll be checking for typos!)
- Ability to follow creative direction and provide constructive feedback
- Proactive communication style and team collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience coordinating between creative teams
- Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn best practices
- Familiarity with project management platforms (Monday.com/Notion)
- Basic understanding of video editing workflow and terminology
- Understanding of social media analytics
