Senior Manager, Corporate Event Marketing

About the position

The Senior Manager, Event Marketing is part of the Corporate Marketing team and is responsible for delivering unique branded event experiences aligned with corporate priorities and initiatives. We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced event manager to drive a strategic approach to internal and external events, enhancing the Gallagher brand and improving client and employee loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute marketing events, including logistics, budgeting and timelines from start to finish.
• Understand and champion the Gallagher brand, ensuring event experiences reflect our brand voice and look as well as our company culture.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across different departments, divisions and levels of the organization to plan and deliver exceptional events.
• Negotiate event contracts and work with various vendors in close coordination with marketing leaders and legal, where needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
• Strong organizational, communication and project management skills.
• Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related field.
• 5-10 years in an event marketing position, preferably in insurance, financial services, or related industry.
• Experience in organizing and executing executive events or large-scale marketing events.
• 10-20% travel required to meet with vendors and stakeholders.
