Position Overview

The Chief Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing, branding, and revenue-growth strategy across multiple offices within the group. This leader will elevate brand presence locally and regionally, drive traffic and customer loyalty, optimize digital performance, and align marketing initiatives with seasonal tourism, community engagement, and financial goals.

This is a hands-on executive role requiring both strategic vision and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy

  • Own and evolve brand positioning for each office while maintaining cohesive group identity
  • Develop annual and multi-year marketing strategies aligned with revenue, margin, and growth objectives
  • Lead brand storytelling that reflects coastal lifestyle

Revenue & Traffic Growth

  • Drive measurable increases in:
  • Guest counts
  • Average spend
  • Repeat customer engagement
  • Design and manage promotions, seasonal campaigns, special events, and partnerships
  • Collaborate with operations to align promotions with demand cycles

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Oversee all digital channels:
  • Website(s)
  • SEO/SEM
  • Social media
  • Email/SMS
  • Online reputation management (Google, Yelp, etc.)
  • Manage paid media budgets with strong ROI discipline
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize campaigns and guest acquisition

Local & Tourism Marketing

  • Build strategic relationships with:
  • Hotels, resorts, and vacation rental operators
  • Tourism boards and chambers
  • Event organizers and community leaders
  • Create targeted strategies for:
  • Seasonal tourism peaks
  • Shoulder seasons
  • Local repeat customers

Public Relations & Community Engagement

  • Oversee PR, media outreach, influencer relationships, and brand ambassadors
  • Lead community involvement initiatives and sponsorships
  • Manage crisis communications and brand reputation when necessary

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build, manage, and mentor internal marketing staff and external agencies
  • Partner closely with:
  • Operations
  • Finance
  • Present marketing performance, insights, and forecasts to ownership

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of senior-level marketing experience, preferably in:
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Lifestyle or destination brands
  • Proven success driving revenue growth in multi-unit environments
  • Strong digital marketing, analytics, and performance measurement expertise
  • Experience marketing in tourism-driven or seasonal markets strongly preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence

Pay: $73,932.32 - $89,036.77 per year
