About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take charge of our comprehensive marketing, branding, communications, and public affairs initiatives. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can enhance our organization's presence and implement effective go-to-market strategies that drive significant business results. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven individual with a solid track record in crafting and executing successful communication strategies, especially in complex environments.
As CMO, you will leverage data-driven marketing approaches to cultivate brand loyalty and ensure our messaging aligns with our mission of enhancing access, equity, and fairness in law school admissions. Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing and communications, particularly in higher education, law, or similar sectors.
Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills are essential, alongside a strong dedication to our values of equity and access. You should be adept at leading teams, managing budgets, and possess a thorough understanding of customer experience, brand strategy, and stakeholder engagement. A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
As part of your responsibilities, you will enhance executive visibility, foster thought leadership, and lead digital and growth marketing efforts. You should be prepared to work in a highly distributed environment while demonstrating a keen emotional intelligence and sensitivity towards the needs of our organization and its constituents.
