We're looking to expand our team with a new VP, Internal Communications & Culture. You'll become part of an award winning collective of cultural insiders and industry outsiders, all of whom are storytellers at heart.This position is full time and is only available in New York City, working closely with teams across projects in all of our offices (NY, LA, CHI, PDX). The right candidate will be ambitious and hard-working, with excellent writing skills, understands modern communication methods and a knack for diplomacy. In collaboration with the communications Executive Leadership Team and Chief of Staff, this person will be the voice of our internal comms program.ResponsibilitiesThis VP, Internal Communications & Culture collaborates closely with our Chief of Staff. As our agency continues to grow and expand, it's more important than ever that we develop a cohesive culture and establish a focused communications strategy. This role will be the voice of the agency from within, cultivating an understanding of our team & culture while developing the best ways to connect our team of nearly 200 people across four offices. From brief slack comms to in depth newsletters, as well as live presentations and even our social channels, this person will demonstrate a platform agnostic way with words, and an appreciation for dynamic change. Given the role within a fast growing and ever changing agency and industry, this person will also be deeply curious, engaged with culture, and eager to learn. Responsibilities will include:Act as the central connector across offices and teams, fostering alignment around company culture, values, and ways of workingChampion cultural initiatives and programming that strengthen community, celebrate wins, and build agency prideDevelop and execute a dynamic internal communications strategy that energizes and informs employeesBuild and manage an internal communications calendar to keep initiatives organized and on trackWrite engaging internal content that reflects the agency's voice, values, and momentumPartner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams (marketing, people, comms, executive) to bring clarity, connection, and culture to lifeProvide proactive input and perspective on internal issues management and employee communicationsSupport executive and agency-wide messaging as needed, ensuring consistency and authenticity across all touchpointsRequirementsWe are looking for someone with:810 years of experience, with 35 years in media, entertainment, or similarly fast-paced, creative environmentsEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to self-start, adapt quickly, and bring structure to ambiguitySkilled at connecting departments and team leads, navigating competing priorities with diplomacy and clarityStrong collaborator who builds alignment and engagement across all levels from executives to agency-wide teamsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with a knack for creating systems that keep projects moving smoothlyDeep understanding of modern communication tools, channels, and technologies to enhance connection and transparencyThrives in a diverse, dynamic environment and brings enthusiasm and curiosity to every projectExcels at managing multiple priorities with quick turnarounds and composure under pressureCreative problem solver with strong writing instincts and the confidence to contribute bold, thoughtful ideasCompensation + BenefitsWe value all of our employees and are happy to provide comprehensive benefits to help support them holistically in the best way we can. The base compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law.
