Paid Social Marketing Manager
Derflan, Inc.Derflan is seeking a Marketing Manager I to support a large global technology organization’s social media advertising and creator marketing function through a high-impact consulting engagement.
This is a full-time role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for remote work. Candidates located in the New York area may work onsite if preferred. Eastern Time Zone is preferred, with flexibility to collaborate across teams in multiple time zones.
This role focuses on hands-on social media campaign execution, creator communications, and content management across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest. You will work closely with creators, internal marketing teams, and platform partners to launch, optimize, and scale digital advertising campaigns.
The ideal candidate brings experience in paid social advertising, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Annual Base Salary: $71,424, full benefits
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Campaign Execution
- Execute and manage paid social campaigns across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Configure, launch, and optimize campaigns directly within ad platforms (hands-on execution)
- Conduct A/B testing to improve campaign performance and inform strategy
- Support campaign setup including URLs, categorization, and creative alignment
Creator Communication & Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for creators participating in advertising programs
- Provide timely updates on campaign status, guidelines, and next steps
- Deliver clear, professional, and supportive communication to ensure a positive creator experience
- Help onboard new creators and guide them through program expectations
Content Review & Curation
- Review and evaluate creator content to ensure alignment with brand and platform standards
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve content quality and performance
- Support content categorization and tracking across campaigns
Campaign Performance & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Compile and analyze performance data to inform campaign decisions
- Partner with internal teams to enhance campaign effectiveness and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal marketing, program, and platform teams to execute campaigns
- Coordinate with platform partners to resolve issues and optimize performance
- Manage multiple workstreams and priorities across campaigns and stakeholders
Success Metrics
- Successful execution and launch of social media campaigns
- Positive creator experience and communication responsiveness
- Campaign performance improvements through testing and optimization
- Timely delivery and organization across multiple concurrent projects
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or paid social advertising
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns across social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
- Experience running A/B testing and optimizing campaign performance
- Strong communication skills, particularly in client or partner-facing environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with creators or influencer marketing programs
- Experience with content review, moderation, or curation
- Familiarity with content creation or editing tools
- Background in marketing agencies, eCommerce, or social media strategy
- Exposure to performance analytics and campaign reporting
