Job Description
The Marketing Operations Manager owns the entire marketing technology ecosystem and ensures the infrastructure, data, processes, and reporting that power marketing and sales alignment run seamlessly. This role is responsible for Salesforce Account Engagement administration, data governance, lead lifecycle and scoring architecture, attribution modeling, and operational frameworks that support scalable, predictable revenue growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Process & Operational Excellence
- Build scalable processes that enhance data integrity and drive more effective marketing campaigns.
- Support tool onboarding and maintain all related training programs.
- Partner with Sales Ops to optimize lead flow and ensure accurate funnel integrity.
Martech Systems Administration & Governance
- Serve as primary administrator for Salesforce Pardot/Account Engagement, 6sense and other supporting tools.
- Maintain platform configuration, integrations, and data hygiene.
- Oversee marketing database governance, including segmentation logic across SAE and connected systems.
- Evaluate and manage new MarTech tools and enhancements.
Lead Lifecycle Architecture & Automation
- Define the overarching lead lifecycle and ensure consistent adoption across all marketing and sales processes.
- Develop and govern lead scoring and grading models, maintaining alignment with evolving business needs.
- Define the automation architecture and oversee execution by ensuring proper routing, workflow logic, and data synchronization.
- Ensure seamless event-to-MQL flow.
Campaign Operations & Attribution Infrastructure
- Lead the campaign operations framework to ensure consistent segmentation, attribution, tracking, reporting, and optimization across all marketing channels.
- Establish governance for naming conventions, UTM structures, and tracking methodologies.
- Ensure high-quality campaign execution through rigorous QA and ongoing oversight of tracking integrity.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards for funnel conversion, pipeline, CAC, CPL, ROI.
- Provide insights and analysis to leadership.
- Support predictive modeling and intent analytics.
Website Systems Ownership (Back-End Only)
- Own analytics tagging, pixels, cookies.
- Manage CMS permissions and governance.
- Oversee site performance and uptime.
Qualifications
- BS Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or related field.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles.
- Advanced expertise in Salesforce and Account Engagement (Pardot) required. Certification preferred.
- Strong background in campaign management, data governance, reporting, and process optimization.
- Experience managing MarTech platforms including 6sense, Google Analytics, CMS tools, scheduling systems, and reporting tools preferred.
- Healthcare IT or B2B technology experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to independently resolve complex issues and propose scalable solutions.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, campaign tracking, and ROI analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/dashboard tools.
