Eventio

Marketing & Community Growth Intern

Duration: 10–12 weeks | Remote or Hybrid | Part-time or Full-time

Eventio is an AI-powered event planning marketplace connecting clients, planners, and vendors nationwide. We're a tech startup headquartered in Erie, PA — and we're growing fast.

As our Marketing & Community Growth Intern, you'll work directly with our Founder & CEO to build Eventio's brand presence from the ground up. You'll plan, create, and schedule content for Instagram and Facebook, design marketing assets in Canva, engage with our growing online community, and support campaigns tied to product launches and regional expansion. You'll also track engagement metrics to learn what content drives real results.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, not busywork. You'll leave with a portfolio of live work, direct mentorship from a founder, and a front-row seat to how an early-stage startup markets and scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content for Instagram and Facebook
  • Create visual and written marketing assets, including posts, stories, and basic short-form content
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and help foster community interaction
  • Support marketing campaigns tied to product updates, vendor spotlights, or regional launches
  • Track basic engagement metrics to understand what content performs best
  • Support additional marketing initiatives as needed

Key Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Proficiency with Canva (required); Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Comfortable engaging with people online and in professional settings
  • Experience with or willingness to learn email marketing tools (Customer.io, Mailchimp, or similar)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Willingness to integrate AI tools into day-to-day marketing workflows
  • Graphic design experience or a creative eye is a strong plus

Ideal majors: Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business Administration

Learning Objectives: By the end of the internship, the student will be able to demonstrate practical experience in digital marketing and community engagement by contributing to real campaigns and social media initiatives. The role will also provide experience in professional communication, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
