Location: Onsite or Hybrid (Philadelphia, PA) or Fully Remote
Travel: Up to 30–40% (U.S. + occasional international)
Many of the world’s most dangerous jobs are still done by humans. At Exyn Technologies, we’re on a mission to change that.
At Exyn, we build next-generation autonomy and mapping technologies that help organizations operate safely and efficiently in complex environments - often where GPS is unreliable, connectivity is limited, and conditions are hazardous. Our teams work at the intersection of robotics, AI, and real-world field operations, bringing advanced solutions to mining, construction, geospatial, and defense-adjacent applications.
The Role
We’re looking for an Events Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Exyn’s trade shows, conferences, partner events, and field demos, globally. This role is for a highly organized, creatively driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple stakeholders, and knows how to turn events into measurable pipeline impact.
You will own the end-to-end events process from program strategy and vendor management to on-site execution and post-event reporting, while working closely with Sales, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and Leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Own Exyn’s event strategy and calendar across priority verticals and regions (trade shows, conferences, partner summits, user groups, and roadshows) with active on-site leadership at priority events.
- Plan and execute end-to-end event operations, including budgets, timelines, booth production, freight/logistics, travel planning, staffing, and on-site management.
- Lead attendee acquisition and promotion, collaborating with demand gen on email, paid, social, landing pages, and registration workflows.
- Partner with Sales and Channel teams to build meeting-setting plans, account outreach kits, and event-specific plays (pre-, at-, and post-event).
- Support in-booth conversations, demos, and prospect engagement.
- Manage vendors and agencies (booth fabricators, A/V, print, promo, event services, lead capture, and show contractors), ensuring brand consistency and cost control.
- Develop event messaging and assets with Product Marketing (booth graphics, pitch scripts, one-pagers, demos, signage, case studies, giveaways).
- Coordinate executive participation including keynote logistics, speaker prep, session submissions, and media briefings.
- Run field demo logistics (where applicable): site coordination, safety requirements, schedules, equipment checklists, and contingency planning.
- Measure results and report performance, including leads, meetings set, influenced pipeline, sourced pipeline, CAC/ROI, and qualitative insights.
- Improve the events engine by building repeatable processes, templates, playbooks, and post-mortem learnings.
- What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of events marketing experience, ideally in B2B tech, robotics, industrial technology, SaaS, or adjacent markets.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics and travel-heavy schedules, including multi-event stretches and on-site leadership.
- Strong track record of driving pipeline outcomes from events (lead quality, meeting goals, conversion, influence).
- Experience running trade shows (shipping, show services, sponsorships) and executive-facing programs.
- Excellent project management skills: timeline ownership, budget discipline, vendor negotiation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong communication skills: clear, proactive, and confident in cross-functional settings.
- Comfortable working hands-on (this role includes being onsite, troubleshooting, and ensuring a high-quality brand experience).
Bonus Points
- Experience with field robotics/drones, mapping, SLAM, autonomy, LiDAR, or geospatial ecosystems.
- Familiarity with priority event ecosystems such as mining/aggregates shows, or AEC/construction events.
- Partner marketing or channel event experience (reseller summits, joint roadshows, co-sponsored programs).
- Working knowledge of event tech stacks (e.g., CRM, HubSpot, Splash/Cvent, lead capture tools).
Tools & Systems
CRM, HubSpot, event registration platforms (Splash/Cvent), project management tools (Asana, Google Workspace, budget tracking spreadsheets, and lead capture systems.
