The Senior Event Program Manager role within Google Cloud offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals to engage with some of the most complex and high-profile global events in the technology industry. This role is dedicated to the Experiments, Performance, Observability (EXPO) areas, which are crucial segments of Google Cloud's event strategy. The position involves end-to-end responsibility for expo space planning, coordination, and execution across multiple event workstreams. Candidates will be challenged to develop and manage scalable, efficient event operations that enhance attendee engagement and deliver outstanding user experiences.
This full-time position supports working from one of several major U.S. locations: Sunnyvale, California; Kirkland, Washington; and New York City, New York. The base salary range for this role is $141,000 to $207,000, complemented by performance bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits, reflecting Google's competitive compensation package for experienced talent. The role requires not only hands-on event and program management experience but also strategic leadership capabilities that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
In this position, the Senior Event Program Manager will be the primary leader for show floor planning and execution, managing detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines from initial concept through post-event analysis. Key responsibilities include identifying potential risks and quickly resolving them to maximize the event experience while integrating innovative solutions for efficiency and scalability. The individual will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including vendors, agencies, and internal teams, managing relationships and agreements to align with Google's exacting standards.
A significant part of the role involves data-driven decision-making by tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights that shape future event strategies. The manager will also oversee operational strategies encompassing staffing, technology integration, contingency planning, and the logistical aspects of event production. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
