AMI Group is seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Events Manager to join our dynamic team. The Marketing Manager plays a vital role in the planning, execution, and activation of global events that drive brand awareness, pipeline growth, and customer engagement. This role is responsible for end-to-end management of industry conferences and tradeshows, customer-hosted events, and regional field events. This candidate is a highly organized, creative, and collaborative event marketer who thrives in fast-moving environments.

Job Duties

Trade Show and Event Management Responsibilities

· Develop and implement a comprehensive trade show plan, including timelines, budgets, floor plans, and logistical requirements.

· Communicate and provide attendees with registration instructions, travel information, and any necessary updates or changes.

· Manage the exhibition process, including booth assignments, order forms, and exhibitor services.

· Map out booth layout and assignments to optimize space and visibility.

· Coordinate all event logistics, such as setup, catering, signage, and transportation, including securing hotel accommodations for the team.

· Organize and coordinate parties or social events associated with trade shows to enhance networking opportunities.

· Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and initiatives to attract attendees.

· Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from suppliers and team attendees to identify areas for improvement.

· Create and maintain a budget report for the executive team, ensuring expenses are tracked and managed effectively.

· Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in trade show planning and management.

· Partner with sales to manage customer events outside of trade shows.

Marketing Presentation and Brand Support

· Maintain brand book for AMI Group and ensure brand standards are upheld

· Develop internal and external Canva templates to be used by cross-functional teams.

· Provide support to commercial team in developing and executing presentations for customer meetings.

· Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including testing, tracking, and optimization.

Market Research and Media

· Own AMI LinkedIn profile.

· Partner with media organizations for articles and press releases.

· Maintain AMI website.

· Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.

· Collaborate with the commercial team to identify target audiences and develop strategies to reach and engage them effectively.

· Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement of marketing efforts.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Planning or related field

· 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing or Event Planning or similar role. Previous knowledge of the travel industry a plus.

· Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Canva, Illustrator, Outlook, etc.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is advantageous.

· Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

· Detail-oriented, highly organized, ability to work within a tracked budget, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Hours of Operation

· Hybrid Role; 4 days in office / 1 work from home

· 8:30-5:30 / Monday – Friday

· Must be flexible during special projects, trade shows, and events. Expectations will be communicated in advance.

· Business travel is required 15%-20%.
