IFS Copperleaf is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to to own the go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and launch execution for our Copperleaf Suite. You will be the crucial link between our Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams, responsible for deeply understanding our industries, buyers, and competitors to drive differentiated positioning, market awareness, product adoption, and ultimately, contribute significantly to our ACV targets.
- *Market Intelligence & Strategy: **
- Conduct in-depth market analysis for priority products in key markets to define and quantify TAM / SAM / SOM.
- Identify and analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities in collaboration with Product, Customer Success, and Commercial teams.
- Identify product/market fit gaps and opportunities and ensure the product management function has the appropriate roadmap response
- Develop and maintain detailed competitor battlecards and conduct regular win/loss analysis in partnership with stakeholders
- Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas, mapping their pains, gain creators, and common objections for the buying committee (influencers and decision-makers).
- Identify key buyer triggers to inform outbound strategies and define lead qualification criteria to ensure quality conversions for SDRs.
Translate market insights overlaid with business objectives into actionable strategies that build brand awareness, contribute towards demand generation and deepen customer retention
- *Positioning & Messaging **
- Develop, maintain, and evangelize clear, compelling, and differentiated market positioning for the priority product propositions, aligned with the overall commercial GTM strategy and product roadmap.
- Create and update value proposition and messaging frameworks, ensuring they are accessible and consistently understood and articulated by all internal stakeholders.
- *Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Execution **
- Develop tiered Target Account Lists (TALs) per proposition/market for Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives, providing these to the digital marketing team for targeted campaigns.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute global product launches and integrated marketing campaigns for the priority products, designed to achieve specific ACV growth and retention objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Global, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure effective campaign execution globally, with central creation and regional enablement.
- Contribute to a consistent organic social media presence by providing inputs for at least two product-focused posts per month for LinkedIn.
Content Creation
- Develop and manage a library of high-impact product enablement collateral, identifying and filling gaps based on buyer persona needs across the consideration-to-conversion journey.
- Create compelling case studies, collaborating with regional marketing and brand to ensure coverage across priority regions, products, and industry verticals.
- Own and work with digital marketing team to optimise product landing pages and associated nurture cadences focusing on messaging clarity, UX, and conversion rates.
- *Visibility & Influence **
- Identify key industry events relevant to priority products and provide recommendations to regional marketing heads for participation.
- Act as Face of Product/Speaker and Evangelist
- Use influence to drive innovation into the product roadmap and product strategy
- Identify and manage entries for relevant industry awards and rankings to build product credibility.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5years) in B2B Product Marketing, ideally in enterprise software or technology.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for multiple products into industry propositions.
- Track record of setting, defining and meeting financial targets and KPIs
- Strong ability to define and quantify market opportunities (TAM/SAM/SOM analysis).
- Expertise in creating compelling positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks.
- Experience developing buyer personas and mapping customer journeys.
- Experience developing a range of marketing and sales enablement collateral (case studies, datasheets, presentations, web content, battlecards).
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and reporting on KPIs (experience with CRM, Marketing Automation, and BI tools is a plus). Proficiency in Hubspot; Salesforce would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing).
- Strategic thinker with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Early-stage management experience or team leadership
- Understanding of asset-intensive industries such as Utilities, Transportation, or Oil & Gas.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, DemandBase, PowerBI, and Outreach.
- Experience in digital campaigns, events, content strategy, and account-based marketing (ABM) approaches.
