Our client looking for a game-changing leader to take our sports toy category to the next level. As Vice President of Brand Marketing, youโ€™ll be the architect of a global brand vision that inspires play, fuels imagination, and connects kids and families to the thrill of sports. This is not just marketingโ€”itโ€™s about shaping culture, building movements, and creating unforgettable experiences. This position reports directly into the Global CMO.

Key Responsibilities

๐Ÿš€ Brand Vision & Strategy

  • Own the global brand narrative for the sports toy division, positioning us as the leader in active play.
  • Develop breakthrough campaigns that blend sports culture, entertainment, and play innovation.
  • Drive brand equity across diverse markets, ensuring resonance with kids, parents, and sports fans alike.

๐ŸŽฏ Consumer Engagement & Insights

  • Harness data, trends, and cultural insights to anticipate consumer needs and spark new demand.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion in brand storytelling, ensuring representation across campaigns.
  • Create immersive experiences that connect digital play, live sports, and retail environments.

๐ŸŒ Global Marketing Leadership

  • Lead integrated campaigns across North America, Europe, Asia, and emerging markets.
  • Forge partnerships with athletes, leagues, influencers, and entertainment brands to amplify reach.
  • Spearhead collaborations with retailers and e-commerce platforms to maximize visibility and sales.

  • Partner with R&D and product design to ensure marketing drives innovation pipelines.
  • Launch new product lines with bold go-to-market strategies that generate excitement and demand.
  • Champion sustainability and responsible play in product positioning.

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class marketing team that thrives on creativity and accountability.
  • Foster collaboration across Sales, Product, Creative, and Operations to deliver unified strategies.
  • Serve as a visible thought leader, representing the brand at industry events and conferences.

  • Manage multimillion-dollar budgets with precision, balancing creativity and ROI.
  • Establish KPIs that measure brand health, consumer engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Report directly to the CMO, influencing executive decisions and shaping company-wide strategy.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive brand marketing leadership, with at least 5 years in VP or senior director roles.
  • Proven success in consumer products, toys, sports, or entertainment industries.
  • Expertise in global brand storytelling, digital-first campaigns, and experiential activations.
  • Strong track record of building partnerships with athletes, influencers, or sports organizations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
