2. About the Opportunity:

The Lead Product Marketer, Developer Platform is responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy and positioning of the organization''s expanding developer and agent infrastructure product portfolio. This role is central to shaping how technical and non-technical audiences perceive, adopt, and engage with these products. It involves collaborating across multiple functions to ensure successful product launches and adoption, thereby contributing significantly to the organization''s growth and market positioning.

3. Responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market strategy, positioning, naming, messaging, and release marketing for developer products.
  • Manage product launches for technical offerings including APIs, AI coding tools, MCP, CLI, and Developer Platform.
  • Define and evolve builder personas, including traditional developers and AI-assisted builders.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Developer Relations, Engineering, and executive stakeholders to align messaging and launch readiness.
  • Create clear, cohesive narratives that communicate complex technical capabilities to diverse audiences.
  • Identify and test new marketing channels to increase awareness, engagement, and adoption.
  • Develop launch assets, enablement materials, newsletters, campaign messaging, FAQs, and technical marketing content.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, proactively managing dependencies and mitigating risks.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, customer feedback, and usage data to refine strategies.
  • Support builder-focused events and product showcases.

4. Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in product marketing or developer-focused go-to-market roles within SaaS or product-led growth companies.
  • Proven track record in executing end-to-end launches for technical or developer-facing products.
  • Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, webhooks, CLI, integrations, and technical platforms.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in developing positioning and messaging for emerging or evolving product categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills.
  • Data-driven mindset to measure adoption, engagement, and launch effectiveness.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency and scale operations.
  • High ownership and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • Annual cash compensation range: $144,000 to $216,000 USD
  • Compensation includes base salary, on-target commission where applicable, annual bonuses, and potential equity participation.
  • Individual packages are tailored based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
