Position Overview

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and executing the company’s social media strategy across all properties, venues, events, and brand initiatives. This role will be responsible for building a strong and recognizable digital presence, creating compelling content, growing engaged audiences, and ensuring the brand is consistently represented across all social channels. The ideal candidate is highly creative, digitally savvy, organized, and deeply connected to hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, and cultural trends. They should have a strong understanding of luxury hospitality and know how to translate the in-person guest experience into compelling digital content. This position requires someone who can both develop strategy and execute independently, from content planning and shooting to posting, community management, analytics, and reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create and maintain a detailed social media content calendar across all properties, venues, events, and brand initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and tone across all platforms.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, algorithms, emerging platforms, and relevant cultural moments.
  • Develop strategies to increase followers, engagement, reach, brand awareness, and overall digital presence.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth and increased visibility through trending content, collaborations, and strategic partnerships.

Content Creation

  • Concept, capture, edit, and publish high-quality social media content.
  • Create compelling photo, video, Reels, TikTok, Stories, and other short-form content.
  • Be present at key events, activations, restaurant services, guest experiences, and brand moments to capture real-time content.
  • Develop creative concepts and campaigns that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and positioning.
  • Coordinate professional photography and videography when appropriate.
  • Maintain an organized library of photo, video, and creative assets.
  • Ensure all content is polished, on-brand, timely, and appropriate for each platform.

Events & Activations

  • Work closely with the Events, Marketing, F&B, and Operations teams to identify social media opportunities surrounding events and activations.
  • Develop pre-event, live-event, and post-event content strategies.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, guest experiences, talent, partnerships, and key moments.
  • Coordinate social coverage for major events, openings, brand activations, and special programming.
  • Work with event partners, talent, influencers, and brands to maximize social exposure.
  • Ensure appropriate tagging, mentions, collaborations, and cross-posting opportunities are utilized.

Community Management

  • Manage daily engagement across all social platforms.
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor conversations surrounding the brand and identify opportunities or issues requiring management attention.
  • Escalate guest complaints, sensitive issues, or operational concerns to the appropriate leadership team.
  • Build meaningful relationships with guests, influencers, creators, brands, and the broader online community.

Influencer & Creator Relationships

  • Identify relevant influencers, creators, tastemakers, and digital personalities aligned with the brand.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key creators and social personalities.
  • Coordinate influencer visits, hosted experiences, content opportunities, and collaborations.
  • Track influencer deliverables and ensure agreed-upon content is received and published.
  • Maintain an organized database of influencers and creator relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to organically increase brand visibility through strategic creator partnerships.

Brand Partnerships

  • Collaborate with the Brands & Partnerships team on social campaigns and partner activations.
  • Ensure partner content meets brand standards and contractual requirements.
  • Develop social concepts that provide value to both the company and its partners.
  • Coordinate tagging, co-branded content, social collaborations, and campaign launches.
  • Support reporting on social performance for partnership campaigns.

Marketing & Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Events, F&B, Hotel, and Operations teams to ensure social media accurately reflects the overall brand strategy.
  • Participate in creative meetings, campaign planning, and brand strategy sessions.
  • Assist with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure social media messaging is aligned with promotional calendars, events, menus, programming, and brand priorities.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, PR agencies, and outside creative partners.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance on a regular basis.
  • Track key metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, views, clicks, conversions, and content performance.
  • Provide monthly social media reports and recommendations.
  • Identify top-performing content and use insights to improve future strategy.
  • Monitor competitor activity and relevant industry benchmarks.
  • Make data-driven recommendations regarding content, posting frequency, platforms, and campaigns.

Reputation & Brand Protection

  • Monitor the company’s digital reputation and online presence.
  • Ensure all published content meets company standards and protects the integrity of the brand.
  • Follow established approval processes for sensitive, high-profile, or potentially controversial content.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests, talent, partners, internal operations, and company business.
  • Ensure guest privacy and company confidentiality are maintained across all social channels.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership and department heads.
  • Proactively communicate upcoming social opportunities, content needs, and challenges.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external creative partners.
  • Take ownership of deadlines, deliverables, and the overall social media calendar.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities rather than waiting for direction.
  • Support and contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative company culture.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized content calendar and posting schedule.
  • Manage social media platforms and scheduling tools.
  • Maintain organized content and creative asset libraries.
  • Track influencer and partnership deliverables.
  • Maintain records of social campaigns and performance.
  • Manage social media-related invoices, subscriptions, and expenses as applicable.
  • Ensure all content is properly archived and accessible to the appropriate teams.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or hospitality/lifestyle marketing.
  • Proven experience managing social channels for high-profile hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, entertainment, or nightlife brands.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms, including current trends and best practices.
  • Experience developing content calendars, social strategy, community engagement, and performance reporting.
  • Strong photo/video content instincts with experience coordinating real-time event and on-property coverage.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent and distinctive brand voice.

Pay: $69,377.92 - $80,508.89 per year
