Project: La Tertulia – Social Wine Club (Buenos Aires)
About the project
La Tertulia is not a wine brand nor a traditional bar.
It is a social wine club, where wine is the excuse and community, ritual and real connection are the core product.
The brand already has a fully developed brand strategy (brandbook, tone of voice, manifesto, buyer personas, GTM).
We are looking for someone who can understand it deeply and translate it into compelling social content, not reinterpret or dilute it.
What we are looking for
A freelance Social Media Manager who combines
- Strategic thinking
- Strong copywriting
- Cultural and brand sensitivity
- Solid execution
- This is not a purely operational role.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a monthly content strategy aligned with the brand.
- Translate brand pillars into real, lived content (not generic quotes).
- Create and execute content formats (reels, carousels, stories).
- Write copy in a warm, conversational, non-pretentious tone.
- Support pre-launch and launch of in-person events.
- Coordinate content before, during and after events.
- Track meaningful metrics (DMs, sign-ups, attendance), not vanity metrics.
What we are NOT looking for
- Pure community managers.
- Template-based or generic social strategies.
- Growth-only or performance-only profiles.
- Overly polished, corporate or aspirational content.
Requirements
- Previous experience in culture, hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle or community-driven brands.
- Ability to think in 30–60 day content cycles.
- Strong Argentinian Spanish
- Autonomous, opinionated, comfortable saying “this doesn’t fit the brand”.
- Real portfolio (even small, but intentional).
Engagement model
- Freelance
- Paid per project (at least in the initial phase)
- This first project is a pre-launch / launch phase, not ongoing daily posting
- If there is strong fit, we will explore a monthly collaboration
To apply, please include
- 3 content ideas specifically for La Tertulia (concept + sample copy).
- A brief outline of how you would approach the first 30–45 days.
- Links to accounts or projects you’ve managed that are relevant, relevant to the industry (food & wine) and/or events & experiences
