E-commerce Marketing Manager - Social Media Strategy

Our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce brand, is seeking an innovative and results-driven E-commerce Marketing Manager specializing in social media strategy. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and ultimately, online sales. This role requires a deep understanding of various social media platforms, content creation, community management, and performance analytics.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data-driven social media marketing strategies across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, etc.) aligned with e-commerce goals. Create, curate, and manage engaging and shareable content, including text, image, and video formats, optimized for each platform. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, ad creative development, and performance monitoring. Build and foster online communities, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and managing brand reputation. Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure seamless integration of social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and provide recommendations for adoption. Analyze social media performance metrics, generate regular reports, and derive actionable insights to optimize strategies and improve ROI. Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and brand advocates. Stay current with platform algorithm changes and best practices for organic and paid social media growth. Manage and optimize social media tools and platforms for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. Conduct competitive analysis of social media activities within the e-commerce landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in social media marketing and management, with a proven track record in e-commerce. In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices. Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads). Strong content creation skills (writing, basic graphic design, video editing). Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights). Excellent communication, storytelling, and community management skills. Experience with e-commerce platforms and online sales funnels. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and e-commerce.
