Social Media Marketing Intern (Spring 2026)

Whipped Lash ® New York, Inc. is a premium silk magnetic eyelash company that is non-toxic, 100% vegan, and cruelty-free. We want women to know that they don't have to sacrifice the health of their natural lashes even when they want to get dolled up for an enhanced look. Our magnetic eyelashes and magnetic eyeliner are a glue-less alternative to eyelash extensions.

We are looking for someone whose goal is to support black-owned and women-owned businesses by creating an online community with friendly posts, individualized attention, and networking. We hire people with energy, compassion, and the desire to grow professionally along with our business. This position is best suited for a college student looking for an internship that will qualify for course credit to fulfill degree requirements.

Responsibilities include

• Develop, implement, and manage social media platforms
• Create content for various social media platforms
• Create video blogs, write press releases and social media posts
• Work with your clients to continually increase loyalty and engagement via social media marketing
• Manage social media accounts and actively employ other digital marketing methods
• Introduce new ideas + methodology to the company
• Interact with customers in real-time on various social media platforms
• Participate in the development of strategies for meeting company goals
• Stay abreast of and report on trends and best practices in digital marketing

Requirements include

• Basic knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook + Instagram
• Working knowledge in office programs such as Microsoft Word + Excel
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to multitask + solve problems
• Creativity + ability to come up with ideas for posts, promotions, etc.
• Provide transportation to and from the office/events, as needed
