VP of Marketing

Jersey City, NJ | Hybrid — three days per week in office

$190,000–$230,000 base salary depending on experience. This executive position may be eligible for additional discretionary, performance-based compensation.

XMONDO Hair is looking for a VP of Marketing to lead our next stage of growth.

This person will oversee the marketing function, with an emphasis on customer acquisition, paid media, brand strategy, and influencer marketing. You’ll lead a small internal team, manage agency partners, and work closely with our founder on major campaigns and product launches.

We’re looking for someone who can set a clear strategy, generate exciting ideas, and ensure that the team consistently moves the work forward.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for XMONDO Hair.
• Drive new-customer growth and improve paid-media performance.
• Oversee paid media, influencer marketing, email/SMS, organic social, and PR.
• Lead marketing strategy for product launches and major brand campaigns.
• Manage marketing budgets, agencies, and external partners.
• Lead and develop the internal marketing team.
• Create clear goals, systems, and accountability across the department.
• Use customer insights, performance data, cultural awareness, and AI to make marketing more effective.

Who You Are

• You have significant marketing leadership experience with a consumer brand.
• You are particularly strong in paid media, brand strategy, and influencer marketing.
• You combine commercial thinking with strong creative and visual judgment.
• You understand TikTok, creator culture, and how consumers discover brands today.
• You bring genuine energy and excitement to your work.
• You communicate confidently while remaining collaborative and respectful.
• You take ownership and create momentum without needing constant direction.
• Beauty or hair experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• You do not need to currently hold a VP title. We’re open to an exceptional Head of Marketing, Head of Growth, or senior marketing leader who is ready for greater ownership.
