The Summit Area YMCA is looking for a tech-centric, creative storyteller who knows how to turn marketing goals into content that connects. Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager is a hands-on role responsible for bringing ideas to life across the Y’s digital platforms. From web and email to social media and paid campaigns, you will create, publish, and manage content that drives engagement and connects people to our programs and mission.
This role blends creativity with execution. You will not only develop content, but also ensure it is accurate, on-brand, and performing effectively. Working closely with the Marketing & Leadership Team, you will help plan and execute campaigns that increase awareness, participation, and community impact.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Interactive Media or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience executing digital campaigns across website, email, social, and digital advertising platforms.
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, Meta, Google Analytics is a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and general PC skills.
- Generally tech savvy and can quickly learn new software/applications.
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and basic graphic, photo, and video editing.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and brand consistency.
- Able to independently travel between the Summit Area YMCA branches.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across websites, email, social media, digital signage, and paid advertising platforms.
- Create and publish digital content, including copy, graphics, and video, for web, social media, and email communications.
- Manage and update website content and digital applications to ensure accuracy, functionality, and brand consistency.
- Develop and distribute email communications, including newsletters and automated campaigns; maintain and organize contact lists.
- Manage and optimize social media channels, including content strategy, scheduling, and engagement
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.), including ad creation, setup, monitoring, and adjusting strategy based on performance.
- Analyze campaign performance and make data-informed recommendations to improve engagement and results.
- Capture and edit photo and video content to support marketing and engagement efforts.
- Maintain organized digital media and project libraries.
- Ensure all digital content aligns with brand standards, messaging guidelines, and accessibility best practices.
- Track and report on basic performance metrics to support ongoing improvements and campaign effectiveness.
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor & executive leadership.

Salary & Benefits
This full-time, exempt-level position generally works Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience.
