Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts in the production home building industry. Proficiency in CRM software, particularly HubSpot, is highly preferred for this role.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing will oversee all aspects of sales and marketing operations, from strategy development to execution. Key Responsibilities - Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the production home building sector.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional performance.
- Analyze sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and prospects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to continuously refine the sales approach.
- Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and drive sales.
- Oversee all marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and paper media, to ensure a cohesive brand presence.
- Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and content strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to achieve the highest ROI.
- Work closely with product development and design teams to align marketing messages with the company's home designs and value propositions.
- CRM & Technology Management:
- Utilize CRM software, specifically HubSpot, to track leads, manage customer relationships, and optimize the sales funnel.
- Ensure the CRM system is fully integrated across sales and marketing efforts, providing actionable insights to improve customer acquisition and retention.
- Oversee the training and use of the CRM system to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency within the sales and marketing teams.
- Team Development & Collaboration:
- Lead, coach, and support a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure alignment in customer messaging, project timelines, and overall company goals.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics for sales and marketing teams, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
- Brand Management & Public Relations:
- Champion the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Work with external agencies and partners to manage public relations efforts, ensuring positive media coverage and community engagement.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and other marketing-related activities to build brand recognition and generate leads.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the production home building industry.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights and market intelligence to guide decision-making.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of executive management experience, with a strong focus on sales and marketing in the production home building industry or a similar real estate/construction field.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, with proficiency in HubSpot highly preferred.
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing high-performing sales and marketing teams.
- Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, lead generation, and brand management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
