- Create and curate high-impact content that includes posts, stories, reels, and videos to ensure a visually engaging and cohesive online presence that reflects the essence of our destination.
- Engage actively with our digital community by managing interactions, responding to comments, and nurturing conversations among potential visitors and local residents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the digital marketing and content management teams, to synchronize organic and paid social media approaches with our editorial calendar and campaign goals.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, featuring their offerings and organizing familiarization tours to generate authentic social content.
- Identify and partner with influencers, bloggers, and creators to expand our reach and showcase genuine travel experiences.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign performance and optimize future strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Manage the organization's library of crowdsourced photos and videos utilizing tools such as Crowdriff.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge and experience with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities, adaptable to different audience segments.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and other editing software for photo and video content.
- Proficient in photography and videography techniques, including basic equipment handling.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and best practices in influencer marketing.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, with a preference for experience in the travel, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
