We are seeking a talented Video Editor to support our paid social media efforts. This is a contract role for 2-3 months, with the potential for renewal or transition into a full-time position based on performance and company needs.
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging, visually compelling, and high-quality video content tailored for various social media platforms and paid-media campaigns. You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to ensure that all video content aligns with our brand identity and effectively communicates our message to target audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and paid-media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements, develop creative concepts, and execute edits that align with campaign goals.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, taking into account platform-specific guidelines and best practices.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, text overlays, and music to enhance the visual appeal and impact of the videos.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media and video editing techniques to continuously improve content quality.
- Provide recommendations for improving video performance and audience engagement.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Assist in post-production tasks such as color grading, sound design, and finalizing videos for distribution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a focus on social media and paid-media content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging, visually appealing, and on-brand video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation tools like After Effects is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction from stakeholders.
