Visual Designer
Lantern is looking for a
Visual Designer (Print & Digital) to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs across both print and digital media. From crafting eye-catching marketing materials to designing seamless digital communications, you'll help bring Lantern's brand to life and create an exceptional experience for our members and clients. Location: Remote | USA | Dallas, TX preferred
Responsibilities:
- Brand Design & Consistency: Maintain and evolve the Lantern visual identity across various platforms and touchpoints. Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Visual Asset Creation: Design print and digital marketing materials, presentations, email templates, social media graphics, and other brand assets to support internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency across digital and print channels.
- Prepare for Production: Manage the production process of print materials, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Iterate Based on Feedback: Make revisions to designs based on internal feedback and user testing.
- Balance Project Workload: Handle multiple design projects while, managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong skills in both print and digital design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma/Sketch.
- Experience with print production, including preparing files for printing and working with vendors.
- Strong digital design experience, including social media, and email marketing. Designing for websites and mobile apps are a plus.
- Excellent attentional to detail and strong portfolio.
Strong Candidates will:
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory and layout principles.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and designing intuitive digital experiences.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, effective designs.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality work.
