About The Role
As the Director of Marketing & Communications you will lead strategic initiatives across acquisition, engagement, and retention. In collaboration with the SVP of Marketing & Communications, this role will oversee market positioning, performance marketing, product marketing, and user journey optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving growth, managing cross-functional teams, and executing data-driven strategies to achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities, include:
- Oversee market positioning, performance marketing, and user journey optimization to achieve strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to align initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Establish and optimize lifecycle marketing frameworks to increase user activation and monthly active users (MAU).
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns to support new product launches, achieving and exceeding enrollment and performance targets.
- Conduct CRM audits to identify opportunities for personalization and targeting improvements, securing cross-functional buy-in to drive implementation.
- Launch and manage innovative incentive programs to accelerate user acquisition and engagement.
- Expand scope to include product marketing, communications, and brand marketing, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of marketing efforts.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance user experience and conversion rates through targeted strategies.
About you:
- 10+ years in progressive marketing roles across B2B, B2C, or B2B2C environments.
- Demonstrated success in roles with increasing responsibility, including experience in brand marketing, lifecycle marketing, and product marketing.
- Familiarity with healthtech, CPG, or related industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in marketing automation systems and CRM platforms, Salesforce and Customer.io is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing landscape
- Superior project management skills, driving both creative and technical aspects
- Passionate and energetic with a growth mindset
- Authorization to work in the US
