THE MARKETING MANAGER ROLE
The Marketing Manager is a key member of the marketing team, responsible for developing and executing field marketing programs that generate leads, accelerate sales, and build brand awareness. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of field marketing best practices and a passion for technology and healthcare.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the Storyteller: Craft compelling campaign strategies that translate complex tech talk into engaging stories that resonate with medical affairs teams at industry events, in marketing materials, and across social media.
- Build the Buzz: Develop and execute field marketing plans, including social media strategies, in alignment with overall marketing and sales strategies.
- Connect and Collaborate: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry players, potential clients, and internal sales teams. Cultivate and engage Sorcero's online community through social media.
- Event Expertise: Plan and manage events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and workshops.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Track and analyze the effectiveness of field marketing programs, including social media campaigns, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize impact and ROI.
- Stay in the Know: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive activities to ensure Sorcero maintains its leading edge. Monitor social media for industry insights and trending topics.
- Resourceful Manager: Manage field marketing budget and resources effectively.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A collaborative individual contributor with inspiring executive presence and communication skills, with expertise in B2B sales in the Life Science industry.
- Self-Starter: A highly motivated individual with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Field Marketing Expertise: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in field marketing, preferably in technology or Life Sciences industry.
- Proven Success: A proven track record of developing and executing successful field marketing programs that drive lead generation and sales acceleration.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Bonus points for deep Hubspot experience).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Sorcero is a remote and globally distributed team. We offer rewarding compensation that will include a base salary in the range of $70,000-$85,000 depending on experience.
