Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Marketing Operations Specialist to lead and optimize our marketing operations with Pardot (Salesforce Account Engagement) as the primary marketing automation tool. This role will be responsible for executing, and expanding our marketing processes and automation strategies to drive lead generation, nurture programs, and campaign performance.
- Own and manage Pardot, including day-to-day operations, setup, and maintenance of email campaigns, lead nurturing programs, imports and automation workflows.
- Maintain the Pardot-Salesforce integration to ensure data integrity, synchronization, and reporting accuracy.
- Design and implement lead scoring, grading and segmentation.
- Implement Pardot B2B Analytics package.
- Configure campaign influence reporting providing insights on campaign performance.
- Develop, test, and optimize automation workflows, email templates, landing pages, and forms within Pardot to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates), providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns and landing pages to improve engagement and optimize campaign outcomes.
- Ensure database health by regularly managing data hygiene, segmentation, and deduplication efforts in Pardot and Salesforce.
- Troubleshoot issues within Pardot and Salesforce to ensure smooth operations and address any data sync or system performance concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with Pardot and Salesforce updates, best practices, and new features, ensuring the platform evolves with our marketing needs.
- Provide training and support to internal users on Pardot functionalities and best practices, fostering adoption and effective usage.
Qualifications - Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
- Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing automation, with proven expertise in Pardot and Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of Pardot-Salesforce integration, including field mapping, data synchronization, and reporting.
- Experience with lead management, scoring, grading, and automation best practices.
- Proficient in creating and managing email campaigns, landing pages, and forms in Pardot.

The Bay Area salary for this role is $96k-$110k base + pre-IPO stock options + benefits. This position can be remote. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee.

New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.
