Marketing at Brex
The Marketing team tells the Brex story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our products and features into tangible customer benefits. Our marketers — across Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing — are responsible for acquiring new customers and have a deep understanding of the business. We’re a highly cross-functional team and partner most closely with the Product, Sales, Business Development, and Design teams to show our prospects and customers how we can help them reach their full potential.
What You’ll Do
The Content Marketing Senior Associate will support our SEO and Content Marketing Leaders to execute their strategies by writing high-quality, high-performing SEO articles and other content types based on defined keywords and content briefs. The right candidate brings proficiency in both on-page and off-page SEO, and you will help drive organic traffic and conversion not only through blog writing and posting, but also by supporting back-linking strategies and keyword research.

This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in office at least 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday, starting the week of January 6th, 2025. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, for a minimum of one week at a time.

Responsibilities
- Write and edit high-quality, thematic content that elevates the Brex brand and product and that engages potential customers within the finance industry
- Support our SEO strategy through content creation, refinement, and optimization
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure a best-in-class SEO website surface
- Support the Content Marketing Principal in writing long-form content
- Work with subject matter experts within Brex to produce top-tier content
- Support the development and implementation of link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic reach
Requirements
- 2+ years writing SEO articles and other content proven to generate traffic and leads, ideally on topics related to finance and business operations
- Exceptional writing and editing skills and attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with designers effectively
- Experience using analytics and SEO tools and CMS platforms
- Knowledge of SEO on-page and off-page best practices
- Experience in B2B financial services or software
- Must be willing to work in office 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $84,343 - $105,429. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
