What You’ll Be Doing as a Digital Marketing Specialist:
As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of Leupold’s digital initiatives, partnering with the Digital Marketing Manager to execute bold, innovative campaigns across web, email, SEO, and paid media. This versatile position demands creativity, technical expertise, and a relentless drive. You’ll craft engaging content, optimize digital platforms, and develop strategies to connect with and inspire our core audience of hunters and shooters. - Email Marketing & Automation:
- Design, develop, and execute email marketing campaigns that don’t just land in inboxes—they inspire action.
- Build dynamic automation workflows that create personalized, unforgettable customer journeys.
- Own and grow the Core Insider email list while staying sharp on industry best practices.
- Analyze and report on performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Website Management & SEO:
- Keep Leupold.com content sharp, updated, and optimized—from product pages to campaign landing pages.
- Implement cutting-edge SEO strategies that don’t just improve rankings but dominate them.
- Partner with the E-commerce team to fine-tune the site’s UI, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Use data to uncover trends, make adjustments, and continually elevate site performance.
- Content & Storytelling:
- Tell stories that matter—create blogs, support articles, web pages, and digital assets that captivate and educate hunters and shooters.
- Work with top industry ambassadors and partners to create authentic content that highlights Leupold’s relentless performance.
- Drive paid media strategies with scroll-stopping content across Google, Meta, CTV, and programmatic platforms.
- Partner with the creative team to adapt and optimize bold, on-brand visuals and messaging for maximum impact across web, email, and paid media.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Work together with the Digital Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing to bring digital ideas to life.
- Conceptualize and deliver innovative campaigns that support brand, product, and sales initiatives across all digital channels.
- Stay ahead of the curve by spotting trends and leveraging new technologies to keep Leupold at the forefront of the digital landscape.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Break down the numbers—use tools like Google Analytics to track, measure, and refine every campaign.
- Provide regular reporting and deliver actionable insights that don’t just inform but transform our strategies.
Skills and Experience You’ll Need as a Digital Marketing Specialist: - Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, advertising, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience.)
- 4+ years of experience in brand, digital, email, or web marketing roles.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Listrak) and automation tools.
- Strong grasp of SEO principles and experience with tools like Google Analytics, BrightEdge, or similar.
- Experience managing web content through CMS platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website updates preferred.
- Familiarity with paid digital ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager).
- Creative design skills in Adobe Creative Suite.

Work Environment for as a Digital Marketing Specialist:
Work takes place in an office environment with consistent computer use. Occasional domestic travel required (estimated 10%).
