About The Role
As the Senior Strategic Marketing Manager, you will drive incremental growth initiatives that propel The RealReal’s marketing performance and business impact. This role focuses on identifying high-impact opportunities, analyzing performance gaps, and developing innovative, data-driven strategies to unlock new growth potential. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will craft and execute strategic initiatives that deliver measurable results.

- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities by analyzing customer behavior, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Develop and execute high-impact growth initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics, financial modeling, and industry research.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights, driving decision-making and aligning stakeholders across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional projects to test, implement, and scale innovative strategies that drive incremental revenue and customer engagement.
- Build business cases for new initiatives, detailing potential impacts, resource needs, and ROI projections.
- Design and implement frameworks for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the success of growth initiatives.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships to unlock new growth channels, focusing on scalability and long-term impact
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, business development, marketing, analytics or related fields
- Exceptional skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and translating insights into strategies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking to capitalize on growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and execute complex, high-impact initiatives
Preferred Requirements:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree with a focus on strategy, finance, or business analytics
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
- Experience in management consulting, retail, luxury goods, or technology-enabled services is highly preferred
- Proficiency in data manipulation languages and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Looker

The expected salary range for this role is $140,000-$162,886. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
