Marketing Strategy & Analytics
- Understands and champions our unique value proposition and ensures alignment of all marketing efforts with the Mr. Wong’s brand
- Collaborates with internal teams, leadership, or external creative partners and agencies to develop materials, campaign plans, and promotions to achieve financial and growth objectives that align with brand positioning
- Provides monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for all marketing objectives, identifying opportunities and optimizations
- Develops and manages the content calendar across all traditional and digital marketing channels, working in advance to optimize the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Responsible for online presentation of our locations through the company website, and tracking online analytics for improved website performance and effectiveness
- Monitors all digital activity to stay engaged, maintain awareness, and coordinate potential actions including search optimization and pay-per-click advertising
- Oversees and manages Wong’s Rewards program, ensuring its alignment with marketing goals and identifying opportunities to grow membership and engagement
- Manages third-party delivery (3PD) relationships with Uber Eats and DoorDash, including optimization of the online menu, pricing strategy, and “platform” promotional spending
- Develops and executes tailored marketing strategies for new store openings and addresses individual store needs to tailor marketing to each trade area
- Measures all marketing efforts to ensure alignment with ROI methodologies and follows up to monitor effectiveness
- Develops and maintains a detailed marketing budget that outlines all costs across the brand and restaurant levels
- Analyzes restaurant sales data to create strategic growth strategies for each restaurant and revenue segment (in-restaurant, delivery, catering)
On-Site Engagement
- Visits local restaurants to ensure message consistency and marketing standards are in place
- Guides and provides support to the store-level management team to create engaging social media content that reflects the brand’s personality and values.
- Identifies opportunities to drive traffic and build brand awareness through grassroots marketing efforts
- Coordinates marketing efforts and communicates regularly with all store-level management teams to ensure awareness, correct execution, and engagement, adjusting as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in the restaurant, retail, or packaged goods industries
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong financial acumen
- Based in Dallas, Texas with the ability to travel to local restaurants up to 40-50% of the time
- Primarily an 8-5, Monday through Friday position, but occasional weekend availability may be needed for special events or projects.
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidates preferred
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and navigate backend restaurant platforms
- Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies and tools.
- Experience with pay-per-click ad placement through Google Ads and use of key social media platforms for both organic and paid visibility
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required training.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
