You will assist your dedicated team in executing the brand or functional strategy as well as participate in initiatives or projects to support the development or understanding of sales, culture, analytics, & service.
CARTIER CORPORATE RELATIONS INTERN
Background
- The Corporate Relations and Arts & Culture team at Cartier North America creates and supports a variety of local and global initiatives focused on the Maison’s commitments and values. These initiatives include producing non-commercial activations that uplift brand storytelling through contemporary art, film, craftsmanship, and savoir faire, as well as the Maison’s dedication to women’s empowerment, philanthropy, social impact, and sustainability.
- The Corporate Relations and Arts & Culture team is uniquely positioned within Cartier North America and works cross-functionally with a variety of internal teams, such as Brand Management, Events, DE&I, Content, Corporate Communications, Retail and Commercial teams, as well as external partners such as museums and cultural institutions.
Responsibilities
- Support project planning and execution for upcoming initiatives
- Create and maintain project-related documents, such as Project Management decks, fact sheets, guest bios & RSVP lists, FAQs, and more
- Manage, organize, and maintain the arts & culture database
- Participate in internal cross-team calls and external partner calls, taking notes, and communicating next steps with key stakeholders
- Provide on-site staffing support as needed for projects and events. Support to include guest check-in, guest management, and guest runners during events/openings/public programs.
- Coordinate and manage gifting initiatives from inception to delivery, i.e. gift ideas and ordering, recipient lists, detailed tracking, creating personalized collateral with external vendors, and managing shipping & ensuring successful delivery
- Coordinate catalogue/book and gift ordering for team, including ongoing inventory management to insure accurate counts
- Assist with invoice submission and tracking, ensuring timely payments to external vendors
- Update and manage team calendars with upcoming events, key project dates and deadlines, and engagements for the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Relations and Director of Arts & Culture as needed
- Assist with travel & hospitality bookings for team members and external partners
- Ad hoc project assignments and tasks based on candidate profile and previous experience
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-orientated and a self-starter
- Ability to work effectively with all company levels, from senior management to external partners
- Team player, enthusiastic, positive, professional
- Eager to learn and develop; interest in the arts and social impact
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
YOUR PROFILE
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program at the time of application
- Tech Savvy with proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An innovative thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- At your core, a team player who is excited to shine, as well as empower and assist others to achieve success
- Energetic and eager to assist on projects and initiatives
- Background/experience in a learning and development role, focused on entrepreneurship and/or women/gender studies
- Able to work a full-time schedule throughout the course of our Summer Internship Program
- Authorized to work in the United States; International students must have a current work visa, Richemont North America will not sponsor work visas for summer internships
- Must be age 18 or older to participate
- Must be available to participate for the entirety of internship program (June 2nd- August 8th)
