Position Overview
The Social Media Content Creator plays a significant role from conception to execution on all content spanning over our many sister brands. The Social Media Content Creator must be comfortable with multi-tasking, collaborating, and participating in a variety of tasks pertaining to all aspects of marketing, social media, and related project management. The ideal candidate must have great communication skills and can easily work with our team.

Responsibilities
The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed.
- Help in planning and managing the social media and marketing strategy including posting schedules, calendars, and working with other departments and partners to execute social media campaigns to drive sales and brand engagement.
- Create engaging text, image and video content
- Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Oversee social media accounts’ layout
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
- Spot trends and creatively think outside of the box to capitalize on them while staying in sync with our brand values, humor, and our consumer audience.
- Oversee social media accounts’ design
- Photograph and film content for various channels
- Create compelling graphics for our emails, stories, and other digital ventures
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or related field.
- Experience as a social media coordinator
- Must be able to collaborate and work well with all levels of staff
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
- Knowledge of functions of digital platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, etc) and analytics.
- Excellent knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Google apps
- Skills in marketing, photography, graphic design
Salary: Depending on experience, $20/hr range, $42,000 annual
