Brand Director, FoxyBae
At Boosted we buy, build, and grow beauty, health, and wellness ecommerce native brands. FoxyBae is our largest beauty brand, and we are looking to hire a Brand Director to help propel it to the next level of growth.
The Brand Director, FoxyBae is a senior brand level role at Boosted and has significant leadership responsibilities across all aspects of our fast-growing hair care business FoxyBae. Boosted is driven by highly engaged people with an entrepreneurial spirit. This role must have significant marketing experience across the P’s and have a strong business acumen and growth mindset.
The Brand Director, FoxyBae is ultimately responsible for growing FoxyBae through developing consumer and brand insights, innovation planning, driving direct to consumer growth, and coordinating with intercompany stakeholders in the areas of merchandising, marketing, and wholesale and ecommerce channel management.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
Develop Consumer and Brand Insights
- Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, path to purchase and behavioral drivers of FoxyBae’s consumer through data and research
- Develop a deep understanding of FoxyBae’s purpose, values, mission and position and continue to evolve it
- As our expert in market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities for FoxyBae, continually keep FoxyBae on the cutting edge from a product and go-to-market perspective
- Analyzes data and synthesizes learning into insights to optimize plan and commercial investment decisions to deliver business results
Business Planning
- P&L ownership to ensure that key business KPI’s are met—revenue, brand contribution and subscribers
- Develop data-driven brand growth strategies leveraging current and future channels and available marketing avenues
- Manage FoxyBae’s consumer marketing budget and demonstrate efficient and effective investment approach across various lead-gen types such as paid, affiliate, email and editorial
Grow the Business
- Oversee all aspects of the Foxybae.com direct to consumer business
- Develop 360 marketing strategies and annual roadmaps to help build the brand, drive awareness, and grow subscribers
- Lead go-to-market launches of new products, developing and closely monitoring detailed timelines and managing cross functional activities, looking for opportunities to optimize the tools and processes to brief-in teams
- Develop detailed product briefs outlining product benefits, unique selling points and market positioning for use on the brand’s direct to consumer website and also by channel partners (Amazon, wholesale)
- Manage communication with cross-channel marketing partners (paid, social, lifecycle and affiliate) and creative teams to ensure alignment on campaigns and product launches
- Evaluate and recommend key strategic growth opportunities based on customer, market and product insights.
- Work with our planning and sales functions to forecast and allocate inventory across channels
TO BE THE BEST FIT FOR THIS ROLE YOU NEED
- 7+ Years in CPG or Retail Brand Management: You have worked in Brand Management at a traditional CPG or Retail company. Bonus if you’ve worked in a DTC startup environment.
- Passionate about health and are either already, or can very quickly become through self-drive, a subject matter expert on hair care tools and treatments.
- You are analytical and commercially sophisticated
- You enjoy a start-up atmosphere where decision making and action without bureaucracy are expected
- You think globally and strategically and can turn insights into actional recommendations.
- You can use data to tell a story and combine insights from different sources.
- You are scrappy, can wear many hats and are able to quickly become a subject matter expert on any subject through self-drive
- You can take on projects and manage them end-to-end, seeking help and guidance as needed
- Strong organization skills inclusive of building timelines and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
- You are constantly trying to learn from others, and you have a flexible approach that enables strong collaboration with cross-functional partners; you have a can-do attitude and will roll up your sleeves to do what is needed.

- Salary: $150,000 - $165,000
