Overview: We are looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator who lives and breathes social media, enjoys the content creator world and has a love for beauty, fragrance and fashion. This person should be both a sharp writer who knows how to craft the perfect caption and a proven track record of managing social media platforms and executing successful social media campaigns. The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Social Media & Influencer Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement and manage social media strategies for clients across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
· Coordinate and communicate with clients to ensure their goals and expectations are met.
· Create content calendars across platforms in a client-friendly format [format, cadence, themes etc.] with asset allocation, caption copy and tagging recommendations
· Source, vet and compile UGC for the brand channels
· Copywriting for captions on brand posts including tagging and hashtag recommendations.
· Monitor social media channels and tools to track performance and pull data for client reports (i.e. Rival IQ, Sprinklr)
· Own the feedback loop (both internal and client-facing) until final sign off is provided by the client
· Client communication for follow-ups related to social media planning and execution needs.
· Community Management of designated social media channels in a timely and professional manner adhering to Guidelines (posting, re-posting, commenting, liking..etc.) both on-channel and off-brand channels
· Collaborate with the creative team to plan the content capture needed for social-first content
· Monitor social media channels for industry trends, engagement opportunities and relevant news
· Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools and trends to help keep yourself and internal teams abreast of the latest platform innovations and opportunities worth presenting to the client
· Participate constructively in internal brainstorms and actively contribute new and exciting ideas to implement in future campaigns and initiatives
· Ensure proper documentation, organization and archiving of all social assets and deliverables to the company Dropbox
· Ensure quality control of all social media content based on client requests, brand standards and consumer needs
· Manage influencer/creator and agent talent by making sure to receive approvals on content, tracking of creator posting and results of the creator content.
· Assist in vetting influencer/creator talent, following brand guidelines and best practices
· Review and provide quality input for mood boards submitted by creators which are based on creator guidelines for internal alignment
Qualifications:
· 2-3 years’ relevant experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role at an agency or brand, specifically experience with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok
· Expertise and knowledge of both paid and organic social media across established and up-and-coming social platforms, demonstrating a passion for and understanding of social media at large.
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, comfortably able to handle more than one project at a time.
· Knowledge of social management platforms and third-party research tools (i.e. HootSuite, Sprinklr, Trello, Modash, .etc.)
· Experience with social media analytics tools (i.e. Rival IQ, Facebook Business Suite)
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Keynote experience
· Flawless spelling and grammar
· In-depth knowledge of influencers and content creators on social media
· Ability to work collaboratively with strong communication skills in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

· Technologically savvy and willing to independently learn when needed.

This is a full-time position with room to grow in a rapidly evolving and dynamic digital agency. This is a fully remote position working EST time zone hours, preferably based in NY. We would require that you have the appropriate working conditions to perform the given tasks (i.e. strong WiFi, quiet work space for calls…etc.). Laptop and access to company software will be provided.
Start Date: August 2024, exact date based on hire
Rate: Commensurate with experience and location
